Research Engagements: Our Unique Approach

Consumer Audiences

The adoption of products and services by consumers has long been a mainstay of ConStat's research in the technology arena. Although some of our earliest consumer-oriented work involved the decision-making processes of residential customers selecting among alternative long-distance telephone service plans, we have also completed projects that are far afield from ConStat's traditional technology focus.

From conducting qualitative research among early adopters of HDTV to performing quantitative research tracking the buying behaviors of consumers of alcoholic beverages, from segmenting the fast-food marketplace to assessing the market for weight-loss centers, from interviewing easy-to-find Yellow Pages users to interviewing hard-to-find hardcore electronic gamers with friends using competing systems, ConStat has conducted a wide range of research studies involving the consumer marketplace in the United States and abroad.
